What to wear deep sea fishing?
Do wear light and comfortable clothing; bear in mind you’ll be “exercising” under the Caribbean sun AND you’ll be aboard a boat. A light long sleeve could be great in case you’re trying to avoid sunburn as much as you can. A windbreaker could come in handy in case a spontaneous rainstorm breaks loose or maybe to just protect you if you feel a little chilly in the early morning. Polarized sunglasses are a must since they’ll protect your delicate eyes from the glare off the water, which can get quite aggressive.
How much does it cost to go deep sea fishing in Punta Cana?
Private fishing charters start at $696 USD for 4 hours, while shared fishing charters cost $165 USD for 6 hours.
What is deep sea fishing?
Known also as big-game fishing, open water fishing, offshore boat or blue-water fishing. Deep sea fishing is a form of recreational fishing done in over 30-meters-deep water. This type of fishing is considered to be riskier and more complicated than shallow water or lake fishing, due to the need for knowledge on weather patterns, navigation, and safety guidelines.
Do I need to leave a deposit to reserve?
No. Some information is required by phone or email and you will pay in Punta Cana the day that we provide the service.
